Ganesh Utsav is one of the Biggest Festival of Vadodara - Baroda. Barodians enjoy's the festival with the same passion and devotion like mumbaikar's do. Its the Festival of 10 days, but the preparation for the same is started by barodians 4-5 months back, by discussion abou what would be the theam of this year ganesh utsav and how would be the Idol and of what size. During Ganesh Utsav, Barodians enjoy the festivity by visiting each and every pandal's of the city. Some Major Pandals are at Pratap Madga ni Pole, Marimata No Khancho, Kalupura, Tadfadiya, Shamalbechar ni Pole, Dandiya Bazar and Navapura area. Roads of Vadodara are full of Barodians during night as people are visiting the pandals.

Ganesh Visarjan of Vadodara is outstanding. People from all around the world comes to see the visarjan. The M. G. Road of vadodara is packed with Ganesh Idol and Barodians. People are dancing all around and all the major monuments are lighting up by the corporation during festival.
