Green Ganesh

Go Green This Year In Ganesh Utsav and Bring Home Eco Ganesh

As we all know that Ganesh Festival is one of the biggest festival in India and popularity of the same is increasing day by day. There are thousand of Idols worshiped at home and pandals in India, and numbers increases every year. Every one of us knows that Immersion of Ganesh Idol's in Lake,Ponds and Seas causes water pollution. But, due lack of awareness in people we always ignore this, and bring home Ganesh Idol made of Plaster of Paris.

In Olden days idol were made of Mud and clay , and at present idol's were made of Plaster of Paris and painted by using chemicals.

Lets Understand Plaster of Paris,

It contains, Sulfur, gypsum, Phosphorus, magnesium, chemical paints contains mercury, cadmium, lead etc. While immersion of Plaster of Paris Ganesh Idol, that increase chemical content in the water and due to this Plants in Water, Fishes, and other species dies in huge numbers after Anand Chaudash. As this will not melt in the water, it also creates problems of blocking of water.

So, Go green or Eco Ganesh is the best option to stop all this happens. Festivity should be enjoyed in a way that, others should not be harm by that. Hope, you all understand the importance of Eco Ganesh and this year, not buy Ganesh Idol made of Plaster of Paris.
